Travelling? How to choose a Low glycemic breakfast

IMG00054.jpgI had a great time travellling to Vancouver to take part in the Olympic Spirit. However, when staying in restaurants it is often difficult to get a healthy low glycemic breakfast.  If you eat the traditional high glycemic breakfast of bagels, french toast, pancakes you will be setting off the high glycemic roller coaster all day. Research shows that if you eat a high glycemic breakfast you can eat up to 80% more calories all day. So enjoy fresh fruit, poached eggs, yogurt  or cottage cheese.  Check out my low-glycemic breakfast. It was so tasty!
