Can you eat well in Vegas?

We are having so much fun in Vegas – lots of great attractions and so much FOOD! Check out the Volcano Nachos-  a popular menu item at a  restaurant on the Strip.  Even when on vacation, there are healthier low-glycemic choices. 

We ordered a tasty Caribbean Chicken Salad – mixed greens tossed with mangoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, pecans and topped with grilled chicken. It was delicious and so much healthier than the Volcano Nachos. By making healthier food choices when eating out – you can avoid the empty calories and unwanted weight gain.

The Caribbean Salad (above) is a much better choice then the Volcano Nacho's (below). And doesn't it look good?

Volcano Nacho's. Sure, they might look good but all the fat and grease is not good for your body!
